The HP Pavilion DV6920EA is the perfect mid range laptop if you don’t fancy spending a fortune. It features the Advanced Core 2 Duo processor which makes for a very powerful laptop. This laptop comes with a 15.4inch display which is perfect for watching films. Not only is it crystal clear quality, but it also has the bright view widescreen feature, which is essential for a laptop these days. You can watch films and such via the Blu-Ray combo drive. Put that together with the 250GB hard drive and the huge 3GB memory and you’ve got the perfect media package. The 3GB of RAM combined with the huge 250GB of hard drive ensures that you can save all your multimedia files for playback later on.
Multi-tasking is made very easy with the huge memory, and this makes sure you do not get any lag or unexpected errors that come with lower powered computers and laptops. Games are also a huge part of this laptop, as memory also allows you to play the very latest and biggest of games out there. All this can be done at the same time if you wish and can be assured that it’s not going to slow down on you.
To put it simply, this is the best all round laptop out there at the moment. When watching movies and listening to music, the sound from the Altec Lansing speakers simply delight. The controls allow for very clear bass and simply awesome volume for the size of the laptop.
As for the overall look of the laptop, it’s up there with the best in terms of style. Black and grey covers the whole laptop, with a slightly darker keyboard compared to the rest of the laptop. The screen is very slim as is the whole laptop, no sign of any junky bits at all with headphone and microphone slots situated right at the front. The touchpad at the very bottom of the keyboard is the ideal size to use for browsing the internet and playing your favourite games. At the very top of the monitor are a webcam and a built in microphone which makes video calls a joy to use. Friends and family abroad will be able to keep in contact with you with ease as the quality of the webcam is very impressive. The microphone produces crisp and clear sound which will make your conversations very easy to hear at the other end. Now the important bit, the price! If you were to buy this laptop straight from HP it would set you back £599 including VAT. This is simply a bargain as you get a very powerful and reliable for the price. You will not be disappointed with this laptop if bought. This laptop will satisfy every need from office and media to playing the latest games with brilliant ease. Don’t get me wrong, this is not the best laptop out there, but for the price and what you are getting with it in terms of software and features, it’s a really good buy.
